Lookup Andrew County Inmate Records

Andrew County inmate records are searched first through the sheriff's jail roster, which separates current custody from recent releases. An Andrew County jail roster search can confirm a booking, show the public profile fields, and point to bond or charge information. The roster does not replace the jail phone line, court records, Missouri DOC search, BOP locator, ICE locator, or VINELink. Look up Andrew County inmates by treating each custody system as a separate official source.

Andrew County Jail Roster

The official Andrew County jail roster starts at the Andrew County Detention Center roster chooser. That page sends users to Current Inmates or 48 Hour Release. The current roster covers people held at Andrew County Jail. The release roster covers people released from the detention center within the last 48 hours. The chooser also carries a warning that the detention center cannot certify accuracy or authenticity, so urgent custody and release questions should be checked with the jail.

The roster is public, free, and did not require a login during research. It is still a jail roster, not a statewide criminal-history database. A person sentenced to Missouri prison belongs in the MODOC Offender Search. A person in federal custody belongs in the BOP Inmate Locator. Immigration custody uses the ICE Online Detainee Locator System, with plain-language search instructions from USAGov.

Search Andrew County Inmates

Andrew County inmate records can be searched with a first name or last name. The roster also has sorting and filter controls, which are useful when a name is common or the booking date is unknown. If the person may have just left custody, the 48-hour release tab is the next place to check. The online roster should be paired with a phone confirmation before bond money is sent, a visit is scheduled, or a release time is assumed.

  1. Open the official roster chooser and select Current Inmates for active Andrew County Jail custody.
  2. Choose 48 Hour Release if the person may have been released recently.
  3. Enter either the first name or last name in the Search By Name box.
  4. Use Show All, Name, Date, Current, Released, or newest-to-oldest sorting to narrow the list.
  5. Open View Profile to inspect the booking number, booking date, charges, bond, mugshot, age, gender, and race.
  6. Call Andrew County Jail at 816-324-4114 if no match appears or a release decision is urgent.

The roster profile URL uses the booking number as a query parameter, so a saved booking number may reopen the public profile while it remains available. That is useful for returning to the same record, but it does not mean a public profile stays online after release or after the roster changes.

Andrew County Roster Fields

The Andrew County roster search is simple, but the filter controls matter. Name sorting can expose A-Z navigation. Date sorting helps with recent arrests. Released mode switches to the 48-hour release list. The fields below reflect the public roster controls documented during research.

Andrew County Inmate Profile

A public Andrew County inmate profile shows useful booking details, but it does not show every jail or court field. The inspected sample profile showed the booking photo, booking number, age, gender, race, booking date, charges, and bond. It did not show date of birth, home address, housing unit, arresting agency, court date, warrant number, projected release date, height, weight, hair, eyes, judge, or bond type.

Andrew County Lookup Channels

Every Andrew County inmate record search should follow the custody path. The online roster is the fastest source for county-jail custody. The 24-hour jail phone line is the fallback for urgent status, release, and bond questions. In-person contact is available at the sheriff's office and jail. Written records that are not online may require a Missouri Sunshine Law request, while sentenced state offenders, federal inmates, immigration detainees, and notification searches use separate systems.

Andrew County Jail Contact

The primary county facility is Andrew County Jail, also described by county government as the Andrew County Sheriff's Office & Jail. The sheriff's site lists the phone as a 24-hour line, while public administrative office hours are separate. Jail staff handle intake, medical questions, risk assessment, court-order compliance, warrants, suicide monitoring, first aid, visitation, and inmate activity monitoring. Those duties explain why phone confirmation remains important even when the public roster appears current.

Booking in Andrew County

Andrew County does not publish a separate booking-flow chart, but the jail page gives enough operating detail to understand the process. After arrest or transfer, jail staff create the booking record, ask medical questions, assess risk and custody level, handle property, check court orders and warrants, and make housing decisions. The facility has maximum-security, medium-security, trustee/work-release, investigative-hold, isolation, and medical areas, so classification affects where a person is housed.

New bookings may not appear online at the exact moment a person arrives. The roster is live, but no official refresh schedule was located. A person held on a 24-hour investigative hold may not be allowed a phone call until charges are brought or the 24 hours expires. After booking, an inmate receives a PIN for jail phones. Calls are recorded for facility safety.

Andrew County Jail Visitation

Visitation rules are local to Andrew County Jail and should be checked before travel. Each inmate is allowed two 30-minute visits per week. Visitors must complete paperwork, schedule the visit, present photo identification, and arrive at least five minutes early. The jail suggests that all visitors for the same inmate come at the same time. Visits are not permitted for people serving commitments of five days or less, people on 24-hour investigative holds, writ inmates from other facilities, or inmates on lockdown.

Mail Phone and Commissary

Andrew County Jail requires mail to move through the U.S. Postal Service. Outgoing mail is on postcards except legal mail. Incoming mail is inspected for contraband, and legal mail is inspected before sealing. Inmates may not write to other inmates housed at Andrew County Jail. The jail accepts certain property on visiting days or within 48 hours of incarceration, including approved prescription medications, legal papers, a small number of photos, white clothing items, and limited religious or NA/AA materials. Hygiene items are bought through commissary.

State Federal and ICE Inmates

The Andrew County jail roster is not the right tool after a sentenced felony inmate transfers to Missouri DOC. MODOC searches active offenders and includes probationers and parolees, but it excludes discharged offenders and requires a CAPTCHA. The BOP locator covers federal custody from 1982 to the present and returns fields such as name, register number, age, race, sex, release date, and location. ICE searching is separate and can use name, country of birth, date of birth, or an A-number, depending on the information available.

No official Andrew County Sheriff's Office mobile app was located during research. A Savannah Police Department app exists for city police reporting and community links, but it was not documented as a jail roster, warrant search, most-wanted list, bond, or inmate-records tool. Custody lookup should therefore stay with the Andrew County sheriff roster, the jail phone line, MODOC, BOP, ICE, and Missouri VINELink.

The MODOC Offender Search is the official statewide custody channel for sentenced Missouri offenders.

That state search should be used after transfer, while the Andrew County jail roster remains the county-jail lookup source.
